Some photographs are cherished simply because of the unexpected result that came out of something really mundane. This was one such click for me. While walking on the street during one of my trips, I passed by a restaurant that had this flower bed and a couple of wrought iron chairs and table on its outside periphery. It really didn't seem anything special at first glance, but then I just took this shot from a slightly different angle, without expecting anything much. And to my surprise, the final result did look quite interesting, and surprisingly, interesting enough to make it to my list of favorites.
I treated this shot, not only to maintain the flower bed in color while converting the rest of the shot to black & white / monotone, but I also gave it an effect of a painting to make it look a bit abstract.
