I consider myself truly fortunate to have been able to visit Santorini, the supermodel of the Greek islands, a head-turner whose face is instantly recognizable around the world, through its multicolored cliffs soaring out of a sea-drowned caldera, topped by drifts of whitewashed buildings, dazzling panoramas, romantic sunsets and volcanic-sand beaches. And your portfolio of photographs is never complete without the Blue Domes that feature in pretty much every postcard from Greece.
Since the blue domes are the highlight of Santorini, I have left them in their original color while keeping the rest of the photograph in black & white / monotone.
