I managed to spot this flock of Scarlet Ibis, and while most of them were marching ahead, one of them decided to suddenly fly over the rest. And I was very fortunate to have grabbed my camera instantly and capture this one in flight at the absolute right moment.
I treated this photograph to retain the bird in flight in its original scarlet color while converting the rest in black & white / monotone.
